Words as sweet as chocolate
They melt in you
They taste so good
You scream for more.
And the liar
Feeds you
With so much more
You'll never have hunger pangs.
But the sweetness
It gave you diabetes
You realized
Chocolates can make you sick
Because you never though
Behind the sweetness
Is fatal sugar content.
Like chocolates
Your words were so addictive
I believe on them all
Not knowing that
Somebody
You'll melt my heart like stones.
Like chocolates
Your words are sumptuous
In every bite
That I ate a whole box
Not thinking that heartaches
May come along
Once the chocolate turns to stone.
And so I abhor
Those chocolate words
From your lips
Coz too much of them
Can make me sick.
It's not insulin
Which brings the cure
But your tongue
Cut, sliced
And melting on
The frying pan.
