and sometimes, i do remembeR

i wrote countless words for you
i pinned a million songs about the feelings that i had for you
But this poem, I sweaR, will be the last
because i'm over with The past

were not samson and delilaH
but our story started wIth a bible
and no, i dont mean the book
what i mean waS looking for the books

we used to be so tight
sittiNg together, side by side
we usEd to be so tight
why did all those tightness die?

we used to wAge on petty fights
nasty aRguments, sleepless nights
At night i confroNt the stars
why Did we end up in here?

graduation passed I didn't say
all the tHings i should have said
like a thousAnd sorries and a goodbye
and good luck hug to your new life

we'Ve moved past from being friends
were now strangErs in a way
you have moved on and so am i
alThough i'm not sure if you really did

i know yOu are happy with your life
i'm very happy with mine too
i Think the sEparation was good
we both ended up so good

that speaks of life and love.

you first left A letter on the doorstep
to the guy who said that you put
those georgia starS to shame
everytime your blue eyes shine.

then you asked Shakespeare's most famous beau
to take you someWhere
you both could be alone
and be royalties
that is IF he says yes.

you wished you could come back
to that cold monTh
to apologize to the guy
who gave you roses
but let them to wither.

you said you wear sneakers
and couldn't put up a fIght against a cheerleader
but now you celebrate your age
with wearing of high heels.

you writE songs about the boys you've dated
about your own experiences
about your mom and your friend
and i like that.

i have my headphones on
